You have spent many hours practicing to be a skilled coach with your clients.

The next step is for you to achieve or renew your ICF Credential. Or perhaps, you want to take your coaching to the next level and need a partner to witness and support your growth.

CONGRATULATIONS!

You have worked hard to get here and I want to partner with you to cross your finish line.

Choosing the right mentor coach is important. You want someone who has trained and certified coaches. You want someone who continues to grow their own individual coaching practice. Also, it is important to hire someone who will listen to your words and beyond your words to help you identify your growing edge with the ICF Core Competencies within your coaching.

I currently train and certify coaches in an ICF accredited training program and have graduated many coaches who have received their ICF Credential. I am a certified Mentor Coach and hold a PCC certification with the ICF. I also coach individuals and teams.

My role in mentor coaching you is this: Simply, I observe you coaching real clients, and we debrief your coaching conversations immediately following the observation, focusing on the process (not the content) of that session, and within the ICF Core Competency framework. I help you become a better observer of yourself so that you can, in the future, show up differently and expand/shift your coaching for your clients that you serve. The Mentor Coaching process is a rich opportunity to gain confidence and grow your skills with a trusted partner beside you.

mentor coaching is:

a dynamic personal learning experience designed to build your understanding and use of the ICF Core Competencies. Some of it is done individually, some of it small groups. And it's a requirement for coaches who are ready to earn or renew their international credential. In mentor coaching, we "connect the dots" between your skill development, your coaching presence and style and the ICF Core Competencies. I will give you feedback to reflect on and to put into practice going forward. Mentor coaching is you being coached--on your coaching.

In great mentor coaching, you can expect to:

  • Work with a veteran mentor coach individually and sometimes as a member of a small group, completing the mentor coaching requirements for earning or renewing your credential,

  • Master your understanding and use of the ICF's Core Competencies.

  • Identify your unique talents and strengths as a coach (aka- your unique coaching presence)

  • Create and select a good recording to send with your application.

  • Get support and guidance in navigating the application process.
